The Insidious movie franchise has been one of the best modern day horror films to date. Wait, let me correct that. The James Wan directed Insidious movies have been some of the best modern day horror films. Insidious 1 & 2 were simply works of art within the horror genre, and they also created the essential framework for the following films. Unfortunately, Insidious: The Last Key had a huge mountain to climb to compare to its predecessors (not including Insidious: Chapter 3)
I, again, disagree with the general consensus of critics with a popular film. I watched Netflix’s new Will Smith/Joel Edgerton film Bright on Netflix last night. Not only was the movie better than decent, it was actually pretty good in a lot of ways.
It’s very difficult to to separate Jumanji with the late Robin Williams. Naturally, in order to draw new interest into this sequel, casting the Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was a no-brainer. Going into the film, a common expectation will be how does this Jumanji compare to the 1995 version.

After viewing The Last Jedi, I think it’s fair to say that the film exceeded and circumvented my expectations all at the same time. Now just so you know, Star Wars The Last Jedi has a ton of surprises and twists. With that in mind, as I have always tried to provide spoiler-free reviews, I’ll try to be even more spoiler-free as possible. A message from the King is a sad story. Not just in the writing, but also with the lack of promotion! I found the movie in my Netflix list the other day and I don’t remember adding this movie. I don’t know if id heard of this movie before. I never got a press release about it from Netflix and the film doesn’t have an official site. there’s no Facebook page or social media presence whatsoever. really really strange that such a film with star power goes without any promotion whatsoever.
